Welcome to The Sassy Sprout: Roots & Relics ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website (sassysprout.net), our online storefronts (including Shopify and Etsy), and any purchases made in-store at 206 12th Ave Rd, Suite A, Nampa, ID 83686. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these terms.

1. Products

We sell a curated mix of live and rare houseplants, vintage and antique goods, plant care supplies (including scoop bar soil and substrate blends), and gifts. Because of the nature of our inventory:

• Live plants are natural products and will vary in size, shape, and appearance from any photos shown. Minor variations are not defects.
• Vintage and antique items are pre-owned and sold as-is, with condition described in each listing. Age-appropriate wear (crazing, small chips, patina, etc.) is expected and is not grounds for a defect claim unless it was not disclosed.
• Scoop bar and bulk substrate items are measured/portioned goods and may vary slightly in weight or volume from order to order.

2. Pricing & Availability

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. Because much of our inventory (especially rare plants and vintage pieces) is one-of-a-kind or limited quantity, availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed. If an item sells out or is discontinued after you order, we'll contact you about a substitution, store credit, or refund.

3. Orders & Payment

We accept payment through the methods offered at checkout (in-store card/tap, Shopify, or Etsy payment processing). Orders are not confirmed until payment is successfully processed. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues.

4. Shipping

We take care in packaging plants and fragile vintage items to survive transit, but shipping carriers are outside our control. See our Return Policy for our Live Arrival Guarantee covering plants damaged in shipping. Shipping timeframes are estimates and not guarantees. Local Nampa/Treasure Valley customers may also have the option of in-store pickup.

6. Plant Care Disclaimer

We provide plant care guidance in good faith based on our own experience, but plant health after purchase depends on many factors outside our control (light, humidity, watering, pests, etc.). We are not responsible for the decline of a plant due to home care conditions once it has left our shop in healthy condition or survived the shipping guarantee window.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and marketing materials — including the Sassy Sprout name, logo, Sprig and Señor Stabby characters, product photography, and written content — is owned by The Sassy Sprout LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sassy Sprout LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website, including but not limited to plant toxicity to pets or people if care and warning labels were disregarded. Please review plant tags and ask staff about pet-safe options if needed.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
